Begin your tour from Jaipur and proceed to Mandawa, known as the “Open Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan”, where magnificent Havelis, paved archways and historic fortresses showcase the region’s artistic heritage. Continue to Bikaner to discover its royal legacy, famous forts and unique cultural attractions.

The journey continues towards the Golden City of Jaisalmer, where you will experience historic forts, Jain temples, grand Havelis, Kuldhara village and the spectacular Sam Sand Dunes. Enjoy thrilling dune bashing, a camel ride across the desert and traditional Rajasthani folk entertainment. Continue to Jodhpur, the Blue City, for an exploration of its magnificent palaces, Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and local cultural experiences before returning to Jaipur for your departure.

Day 1 –Jaipur – Mandawa

Tour guests will arrive at Jaipur Airport as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival, they will meet the Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to Mandawa, a charming town in the heart of the Shekhavati region, known as the Open Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan. The town is adorned with paved archways, magnificent Havelis, and fortresses. Enjoy some free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

 

After the visit, check into the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Mandawa.

After a delicious breakfast, we visit Mandawa Fort, adorned with paintings of Lord Krishna and adorned with artistic carvings and amazing mirror work. Later, we proceed to Bikaner, the former capital of the princely state of Bikaner, known worldwide for its savory snacks, especially BikaneriBhujia.

After a satisfying breakfast, in the morning, we visit Karani Mata Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Karani Mata, famous for the approximately 25,000 black rats that live and are revered in the temple. Later, explore the Junagarh Fort, an impressive fort standing in all its regal glory, epitomizing architectural brilliance. The dazzling structures of the fort, including AnupMahal, GajMandir, Sheesh Mahal, and the Prachina Museum, depict a composite architectural style influenced by cultural differences of Indian and foreign inspirations.

 

In the evening, we visit Asia’s biggest Camel Research Farm to get up close with different camel breeds and baby camels.

After a delightful breakfast, we proceed to Jaisalmer, the Golden City of the desert, renowned for its yellow sandstone architecture. En route, we visit the Jaisalmer War Museum, established in the military station to honor the soldiers of the ‘Battle of Longewala’ fought in 1971, commemorating the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Army. Upon arrival, enjoy a blissful boat ride in Gadisar Lake, surrounded by temples, shrines, and Ghats. Later, delight in a puppet show, a preserved ancient folk art of Rajasthan.

After a satisfying breakfast, explore Jaisalmer City. Visit the Golden Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the very few living forts globally, with nearly one-fourth of the city’s population residing within the Fort. Next, visit Jain Mandir, carved in yellow sandstones, dedicated to Jain hermits known as Tirthankars. Later, explore the PatwonkiHaweli Museum, a palace built in the early 1800s, now a museum featuring intricate carvings, furniture, and artwork. Visit Nathmaljiki Haveli.

 

It’s time to explore Kuldhara, an abandoned village believed to be cursed. Proceed to the famous Sam Sand Dunes. Experience thrilling Dune Bashing over the golden sands of Jaisalmer. In the evening, witness the spectacular beauty of the sandy terrain, taking a joyful Camel Ride and enjoying the red-orange color splash of the sunset on the desert horizon. Later, savor a traditional Rajasthani Folk Dance with dinner.

After breakfast, we proceed to Jodhpur city, famed as the Blue City of India, featuring many palaces, forts, and temples set in the stark landscapes of the Thar Desert. In the evening, we visit Bishnoi village, offering a glimpse of the rich cultural life of Marwar. Enjoy a village safari and dinner with Bishnoi villagers.

After breakfast, explore the UmmaidBhavan Palace Museum, an almost 75-year-old architectural marvel turned into a museum showcasing artistic murals, opulent miniature paintings, vintage clocks, and unusual household paraphernalia. In the afternoon, visit the Mehrangarh Fort, standing four hundred feet above the skyline of Jodhpur. The fort, burnished in red sandstone, impresses with its colossal structure. Explore MotiMahal, the largest room in the fort, adorned with a ceiling decorated with gold leaves, sea shells, and mirrors. Visit PhoolMahal, the pleasure dome of the Maharajas, Sheesh Mahal, a decorative mirror palace with brightly colored paintings, SilahKhana, the place where weapons were stored, DaulatKhana, the treasure vault, and Rang Mahal. Later, visit JaswantThada, a royal cenotaph built in white marble, also known as the TajMahal of Marwar. Witness the Sanganeri Block Prints Demonstration, showcasing a hand-block printing technique originating from Sanganer. In the evening, enjoy free time for shopping.
