Experience the spiritual charm and breathtaking natural beauty of Jammu & Kashmir with this 6 Nights / 7 Days Kashmir Holiday Package. The journey begins in Katra with a visit to the sacred shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, followed by the scenic beauty of Pahalgam, the magnificent landscapes of Gulmarg and the gardens and heritage attractions of Srinagar.
The tour also includes an excursion to Sonmarg, known as the “Meadow of Gold,” with an opportunity to explore Thajiwas Glacier. Enjoy the famous Gulmarg Gondola as an optional experience, visit Srinagar’s Mughal Gardens and Shankaracharya Temple, and relax with a one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake. The combination of pilgrimage, mountain scenery, gardens and traditional Kashmiri experiences makes this a well-rounded Kashmir holiday.
DAY 01: JAMMU - KATRA (54 KMS, APPROX. 02 HOURS BY ROAD)
Arrive at Jammu airport / Railway station and transfer to the Katra. Check in to the Hotel. Overnight stay and dinner at Hotel in Katra.
DAY 02 KATRA (VAISHNO DEVI DARSHANS)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to register and procure the Yatra slip for Vaishno Devi Darshan. You will be dropped off at Banganga, from where you will begin your sacred Yatra to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. The Bhavan is located approximately 13 km from Katra, and you can choose to cover the distance on foot, by hiring ponies, or via palkis.
After seeking the divine blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, return to Katra. Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Katra.
Please Note: Yatra slips can be booked in advance on the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board’s official website (www.maavaishnodevi.org) or obtained from the Yatra Slip counter in Katra.
Important Instructions: For security reasons, it is advised to leave electronic gadgets such as tablets, laptops, video cameras, handy cameras, and licensed weapons in your hotel room, as these items are not permitted during the Yatra.
DAY 03: KATRA – PAHALGAM (210 KMS/ 06HRS)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Pahalgam. Pahalgam, renowned for its scenic beauty, is a well-known tourist attraction and a favored location for Bollywood film shoots. It retains its status as a health resort and now features not only tourist huts but also several private-sector hotels offering modern amenities.
Upon reaching Pahalgam, check into the hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay with dinner at the hotel in Pahalgam.
DAY 04: SRINAGAR – GULMARG (54 KMS /02HRS)
After breakfast, check out from hotel and For those interested in additional sightseeing (at Own Expenses), consider an excursion to Chandanwari (3288 meters), Betaab Valley, and Aru Valley. Nestled amid snow-covered mountain peaks and lush pine and deodar forests, Betaab Valley is situated at the mouth of River Sheshnag.
Later proceed to Gulmarg, On the way, make a stop to visit a bat factory and Apple Valley.
Gulmarg is a captivating destination discovered by the British in the 19th century. Nestled in a basin surrounded by pine forests within the Pir Panjal range, Gulmarg is situated at an elevation of 2,730 meters above sea level, making it one of Kashmir’s most renowned tourist spots. Notably, it boasts one of the world’s highest green golf courses, featuring 18 holes and a historic clubhouse.
Upon reaching Gulmarg, check into the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel in Gulmarg.
DAY: 05: GULMARG – SRINAGAR (98KM/03 HRS)
After breakfast, check out from hotel and you have the option to take part in the following tours:
OPTIONAL / INDIVIDUAL ARRANGEMENTS:
Gulmarg to Kungdoor (Phase 1): The first phase of the Gondola transports visitors to an altitude of 8,530 ft, reaching Kongdori Station.
Kungdoor to Apharwat (Phase 2): The second stage of the Gondola ascends to an elevation of 12,293 ft.
Later drive to Srinagar, upon reaching in Srinagar, visit the following:
Explore the Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh constructed in 1632 A.D. by Asif Khan, Jahangir’s brother-in-law, and Shalimar Bagh commissioned by Jahangir for Empress Noor Jahan. Additionally, visit Chashm-e-Shahi. These picturesque gardens are situated along the shores of Dal Lake.
Visit the Shankaracharya Temple, also known as the Jyeshteshwara Temple, situated atop the Shankaracharya Hill on the Zabarwan Range in Srinagar. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple offers panoramic views of Srinagar from its elevation of 1,000 feet above the valley floor.
Conclude your day with a delightful one-hour boat ride on the lake aboard a gondola boat known as “SHIKARA.” Experience the Venice of India as you witness the aquatic life of Srinagar.
After Visit, check into Houseboat. Overnight stay with dinner at the Houseboat on Dal Lake or Nigeen Lake in Srinagar.
DAY 06: SRINAGAR – SONMARG – SRINAGAR (82KM/03 HRS)
After breakfast, check out from Hotel and embark on a day excursion to Sonamarg, situated at an altitude of 9000 feet and renowned as “The Meadow of Gold.” The backdrop of snow-capped mountains against a vivid sky and the meandering Sindh River add to the enchantment.
During this excursion, you can explore the enchanting Thajiwas Glacier. Whether you prefer a leisurely walk or a pony ride (available on a direct payment basis), the glacier promises a mesmerizing experience.
After Visit, return to Srinagar. Check into the Hotel, Dinner & Overnight stay in Srinagar at Hotel.
DAY 07 SRINAGAR – DEPARTURE
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Srinagar airport to board your flight for your onward journey, carrying with you the sweet memories of this tour.

The vehicle provided is non-air-conditioned and is available on a trip-wise basis, not on disposal, subject to municipal limits. Clients are urged to adhere to the timings in the program. Any services missed due to departure delays are not the responsibility of the operator for refunds.
Hotels mentioned are subject to availability at the time of booking; otherwise, a suitable alternative will be arranged.
Our vehicle is not allowed in Gulmarg & Pahalgam for local sightseeing. Clients can either hire a local vehicle or pony from the market for local sightseeing.
Due to security reasons, prepaid numbers do not work in Jammu and Kashmir, whereas post-paid numbers work throughout the region.
Any dispute arising from the stated terms and conditions is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jammu.
Please note that there are no liquor shops in Pahalgam, Gulmarg, and Sonamarg. Hotels in these areas do not serve liquor. Guests are advised to carry liquor from Srinagar, as there are only a few liquor shops in the city.
