Drive & Camp – Jai Valley, Padri & Kellar Valley
Experience an exciting Drive & Camp adventure through the beautiful valleys of Doda, combining scenic drives, camping, guided hikes and immersive village experiences. The journey takes you through the stunning meadows of Lal Draman, the picturesque Kellar Valley and the open landscapes of Padri. Surrounded by dense forests, pine trees, terraced fields, rivers and peaceful mountain scenery, this itinerary offers an opportunity to experience nature away from the usual tourist routes.
The adventure continues with a guided excursion to Bal Padri, followed by a scenic drive to Jai Valley and a hike to the beautiful Sharun Dhar meadow.
DAY 01: ARRIVAL JAMMU /LAL DRAMAN (105 KMS, 03 HRS)
After breakfast, embark on a drive to Lal Draman, a stunning meadow. En route, drive pass through Doda City, relishing scenic views of Chenab River and dense Deodar Tree forests. Upon arrival, settle into the campsite. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and spend the night in comfortable tents at Lal Draman.
DAY 02: LAL DRAMAN
After breakfast, embark on a guided hike through the forest, immersing yourself in the breathtaking natural beauty and diverse flora and fauna. Experience an invigorating journey along scenic trails, taking in the serene surroundings. Return to the campsite for a delicious lunch. In the evening, relax and unwind before enjoying a delightful dinner. Spend the night in comfortable tents, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.
DAY 03: LAL DRAMAN – KELLAR VALLEY (40 KMS, 02 HRS)
After breakfast, embark on a drive to Kellar Valley, renowned for its picturesque landscapes and captivating terraced fields. Along the way, catch glimpses of the Nehru River. Upon reaching the destination, settle into the campsite. Indulge in lunch, dinner, and a cozy night’s stay in comfortable tents amidst the enchanting Kellar Valley.
DAY 04: KELLAR VALLEY
After breakfast, embark on an immersive exploration of Kellar Valley. Walk along scenic trails, cross pristine rivers, and discover charming villages. Visit local homes to experience the warmth of traditional hospitality and get a glimpse of the region’s unique culture. After a full day of adventure and exploration, return to the campsite. Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in the comfort of your tent, surrounded by nature.
DAY 05: KELLAR VALLEY / PADRI (60KM, 02 HRS)
After breakfast, drive to Padri. Upon arrival, enjoy the open landscapes, explore the surroundings, and take in the fresh mountain air. Engage in fun activities like playing music, dancing, and soaking in the lively atmosphere. As the day winds down, savor a delicious dinner and gather around a warm campfire. Spend the night in comfortable tents, surrounded by nature’s tranquility.
DAY 06: PADRI – BAL PADRI - PADRI (7 KMS, 04 HRS)
Morning, After Breakfast, Guided Tour towards Bal Padri to enjoy the natural Beauty and explore Flora and Fauna. Experience the invigorating journey along scenic trails, adorned with majestic pine trees and glimpses of nomadic life, providing an immersive experience. Pause for a delightful lunch en route, savoring the natural beauty surrounding you. Upon reaching Bal Padri, explore the captivating surroundings, fully immersing yourself in the scenic charm.
After lunch, return to Padri for the evening. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in comfortable tents, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.
DAY 07: PADRI – JAI VALLEY (80 KMS, 03 HRS)
After breakfast, drive to Jai Valley, Jai Valley is one of the most beautiful valleys of Doda, situated at a distance of about 35 km from Bhaderwah and 80KM from Padri. The meadow extends over 6 km, and the 7,000 feet height makes the climate conducive for many sporting activities. Enroute Visit:-

Upon arrival, settle into the campsite. Indulge in lunch, dinner, and a cozy night’s stay in comfortable tents amidst the enchanting Jai Valley.
DAY 08: JAI VALLEY / SHARUN DHAR – JAI VALLEY (04KM, 02 HRS)
Start your day with a hearty breakfast, and then embark on an enjoyable hike to Sharun Dhar, renowned as one of the best meadows in Jai Valley. Revel in the picturesque surroundings and soak in the beauty of the landscape. Have a satisfying lunch at Sharun Dhar before making your way back to Jai Valley. It’s a day filled with exploration and natural beauty.
DAY 09: JAI VALLEY / DEPARTURE (205 KMS, 06 HRS)
After Breakfast, depart to Jammu to catch the flight or train for your onward destination with sweet memories.
Tour Inclusion
- 08 Nights / 09 Days in Alpine Tents on triple-sharing basis.
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner as per the package after reaching the campsite and before leaving the campsite.
- Sleeping bag, inner, furniture as required and trekking pole.
