Discover the charm of Udaipur, famously known as the “City of Lakes”, on this 3 Nights / 4 Days holiday package. The journey begins with your arrival in Udaipur, followed by time to relax and enjoy the surroundings of this beautiful city, known for its lakes and the Aravalli hills. The itinerary then takes you through some of Udaipur’s important attractions, including Maharana Pratap Smarak, the magnificent City Palace, Crystal Gallery, Jag Mandir and the cultural experience at Bagore ki Haveli.

The tour also includes a full-day excursion to Chittorgarh Fort, where you can explore important historical sites including Ranakumbha Palace, Meera Mandir, Vijay Stambha and Queen Padmini’s Palace. After returning to Udaipur, the holiday concludes with departure from Udaipur Airport or Railway Station.

Day 1 –Udaipur

Welcome to Udaipur! This beautiful city was founded in 1553 by MaharanaUdai Singh II and became the new capital of the Mewar Kingdom. Known as ‘The City of Lakes’ and often compared to the ‘Venice of the East,’ Udaipur is surrounded by stunning azure water lakes and lush green hills of the Aravallis. Once you arrive at the airport, head to your hotel and take it easy for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Optional: In the evening, you can enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola at an additional cost.

Day 2 –Udaipur – City Tour

After a delightful breakfast, let’s delve into the beauty of Udaipur. Our first visit is MaharanaPratapSmarak, perched atop MotiMagri hill near FatehSagarlake. This historic site commemorates the great MaharanaPratap Singh and his loyal horse Chetak. Next, we explore the City Palace, a splendid architectural marvel and the largest royal palace complex in Rajasthan, situated on the banks of Lake Pichola. Following this, we’ll take a boat ride to reach Jag Mandir, a palace built on an island in Lake Pichola, once a summer retreat and pleasure palace for royal festivities. In the evening, immerse yourself in Udaipur’s cultural richness with a traditional music and dance show at Bagoreki Haveli.

Conclude the day with a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Udaipur.

Note: Optionally, you can enhance your evening by enjoying a sound and light show at the City Palace for an additional cost.

Day 3 –Udaipur – Chittorgarh – Udaipur

After breakfast, we’ll take a trip to Chittorgarh Fort, a symbol of Rajput bravery and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore Ranakumbha Palace, the birthplace of MaharanaUdai Singh, the founder of Udaipur. Visit MeeraMandir, once the home of the famous bhakti poetess Meerabai. Marvel at Vijay Stambha, a victory monument built by the Mewar king to commemorate the triumph over Mahmud Khilji. Discover Queen Padmini’s Palace, situated amidst water bodies, where Aladdin Khilji was permitted to see the mirror image of Queen Padmini.

In the evening, we’ll return to Udaipur for a comforting dinner and a restful overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 –Udaipur – Hometown
